Preview for Orlando Magic at Indiana Pacers
Coming off of a valiant – but losing – playoff effort last season against number one Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers have come roaring back to start the 2011-2012 season. The organization is experiencing its best early record in the previous eight seasons, but are still struggling when facing the more talented teams in the league.
However, the Magic are a tough opponent that are 11-5 on the season so far. And recent history is clearly favoring Orlando. The Magic have defeated the Pacers in Indiana in every one of the previous three meetings of the two.
Both organizations come into this fight with a 7-3 record over their last ten contests. The Pacers have a 5-0 record at home right now, while the Magic are 5-3 on the road. Look for Orlando to make a surprisingly strong first quarter after their pitiful 87-56 blowout to the Boston Celtics a few days ago.
